HydraFacial Lymphatic Therapy

Apothecarie HydraFacial Lymphatic Therapy | Apothecarie New York

Purify, tone and firm your skin with this relaxing HydraFacial lymphatic drainage massage. Your lymphatic system is an essential part of your body’s defense system, responsible for filtering out and destroying bacteria, viruses, damaged cells and other unwanted materials. Thirty-three percent of this lymphatic system is found in the face. But it can become clogged or sluggish, leading to puffiness and a dull or uneven complexion.

Our lymphatic HydraFacial treatment uses a high-pressure suction device, applied in a specific pattern, to manually massage the lymph nodes so that any stagnant fluid is moved along for a complexion that appears decongested and beautifully clear. This action also triggers fresh lymphatic fluid to flow in, promoting an instant healthy glow.

What’s included?

Our lymphatic drainage face massage is a soothing, 15-minute treatment that uses state-of-the-art HydraFacial technology. Here’s what to expect:

  • Cleanse: We’ll start with a gentle cleanse to prep the skin, ensuring you’ll enjoy maximum benefits from the massage stage.

  • Lymphatic drainage: The entire face and neck is massaged using HydraFacial’s unique, high-power suction tool, which is moved across the skin in a specialized pattern to mimic the natural flow path of lymphatic fluid.

You can book this service as a standalone treatment, or in addition to our Signature HydraFacial or Deluxe HydraFacial which include a much deeper cleanse (complete with extractions for purified pores), a skin-resurfacing peel, and the application of nourishing and hydrating HydraFacial serums.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a lymphatic HydraFacial treatment cost?

This service is priced at $120 and lasts approximately 15 minutes, including both a professional cleanse and the HydraFacial vacuum massage.

What are the lymphatic drainage HydraFacial benefits?

This powerful massage is designed to stimulate lymph flow in the face and neck, speeding up the removal of cellular waste and other toxins from within the skin. You can expect to see instantly-visible results including reduced puffiness, improvements in skin tone and color, and a brighter complexion.

Over time, with multiple treatments, you may also experience an improvement in your skin’s firmness as well as clearer skin that’s less prone to breakouts.

Are HydraFacials good for acne?

When bacteria, toxins and other waste are drained from the skin regularly, it’s easier for the skin to stay healthy and clear from the inside out. Hence, a HydraFacial lymphatic drainage massage can help to improve blemish-prone skin.

In order to effectively treat acne however, it’s important to also focus on keeping the surface of the skin (i.e. the pores) free from bacteria and blockages. Our Platinum HydraFacial includes this lymphatic drainage massage alongside a pore-purifying cleanse and peel and bacteria-eliminating LED light therapy, plus can be customized to treat acne via specialized serums. Feel free to stop by to discuss the best treatment plan for you with one of our skincare specialists.

Are HydraFacials safe?

All HydraFacial treatments are gentle and non-invasive, which is one of the reasons that they deliver instant results with no irritation. In particular, a lymphatic drainage massage uses only powerful-yet-painless suction power to deliver its benefits, so it’s suitable for even sensitive skin types.

How often should you get a lymphatic drainage massage on the face?

Because this is such a gentle treatment, there’s not really such a thing as ‘too often’. You’ll see the best results with regular lymphatic drainage, such as a monthly treatment. Our skincare technicians will be happy to advise on what frequency they feel would be best for your skin type at your first appointment.

Do I need to book an appointment for a HydraFacial in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey?

While it’s not strictly necessary (we will happily accept walk-ins when we can), we recommend booking an appointment to ensure that our HydraFacial equipment will be available. Our salon does get busy at times, and we’d hate to have to disappoint you!
